" Why so many channels, and how are you supposed to keep all of them updated? I know, it can feel overwhelming." - Barbara, Mango Marketing Co's Social Media Manager
First of all, your business doesn’t need to be on every platform available. Test different platforms, find the ones that work best for your niche and your audience, and focus on those.
A good strategy and consistency are what make you grow on social media. But the truth is, you don’t need to create completely different content for each platform. One idea can be transformed into content for all your channels. You just need to repurpose it strategically.
Instead of chasing every trend, the smartest thing to do is start with a plan and batch your content so you can schedule it across all your accounts.
Start with a long format, like a blog post or a Youtube video, where you can explain any topic in detail. Then you can break that same idea into smaller pieces of content.
For Tiktok, short videos usually do better, you shouldn’t chase trends but you can make good use of trending songs that make sense and a strong attention grabbing text on the screen.
For Instagram, it’s valid to use the same video you posted on TikTok, but with a nice Reel cover and a longer caption. You could also turn it into a carousel post with graphics about the same topic.
See? You don’t need to stress about creating different content every day for each platform. Repurposing content makes your workflow much more efficient. Instead of starting from scratch every day, you create a system that saves you time. This is how we took one social media idea and turned it into a few.
Extra-pro-tip: Saving one day of the month to batch your content and schedule everything will save you a lot of time when life gets busy.
