This Galentine’s Night, we are throwing a Mango Mingle. Which is all about community, connection, and celebrating the girlies who are in business or creative industries.
We couldn’t imagine a better soundtrack for the evening than our live performance artist, Maliyah.
Taking the stage at Wissahickon Brewing Company from 6–7 PM, Maliyah will be delivering a set that’s 80% covers and 20% original music, making this the perfect moment to arrive early, grab a drink, and settle into the vibe.
Think smooth, soulful, and emotionally rich music that feels like a deep exhale after a long day.

Artist Bio:
There is no single genre that fully contains Maliyah’s sound. At its core, her music is rooted in Alternative R&B, but each release unfolds a new, uncharted sonic landscape. Raised in North Carolina, Maliyah was immersed early in a wide range of musical traditions—from bluegrass and choir to jazz and metal—shaping a fluid and exploratory approach to songwriting and production.
Her most recent EP, FLORIDA WATER, pays homage to the emo, punk-pop, and rock influences of her early teens, while seamlessly weaving in Arabian-inspired melodies, operatic vocal textures, and emotionally expansive arrangements. The result is a body of work that reflects a lifetime of movement, memory, and musical cross-pollination.
Committed to experimentation and emotional honesty, Maliyah resists confinement to any single genre, instead cultivating a sound that remains unmistakably her own.
