Batch content creation is a small business owner's best friend. Our social media manager Is always asking "did you get content" and we quietly reply "maybeeee..." Cause sometimes we have a lot and sometimes we don't. So, In order to keep her busy (and happy) we have to set some time aside to get It done.

Sitting down every day to figure out what to post is exhausting and inefficient. Strategy isn't in "what to post right now". Your strategy is about what will help long-term. Without further due, because this is what you came here for, Here is how to knock out a full month of content in one focused afternoon.

Step 1: Pick your content pillars

Choose 3-5 recurring themes you talk about. For example: tips, behind the scenes, promotions, client wins, and personal brand posts. If you are a bakery, your content isn't cookies, candies, cupcakes. Your content is cake decorating videos, customer service scenario reels, education about how to make the perfect cookie and behind the scenes baking.

Step 2: Plan your cadence

Decide how many times a week you will post. Three times a week equals 12 posts a month. Whatever the number is you can grow from there so be realistic.

Step 3: Write all captions at once

Open a Google Doc and write every caption back to back. I promise this is so helpful and leads to less overthinking long term.

Step 4: Create graphics in bulk

Yes, it's okay to use Canva. If you batch your graphics by switching out text on the same layout that Is branded to your business you will be faster and more consistent.

Step 5: Schedule everything

Use a tool like Meta Business Suite, Later, or Planoly. It's worth It. We schedule everything. Our e-mail campagins, newsletters, social media and even our blogs (Yes, I wrote this blog at 7:00pm on Friday, April 24th. Hi It's me Natty) If none of this brings you joy, that's okay. We got people for that (wink, wink). Check out our services and see how we can help you at: www.mangomarketingco.com/services
