Five Places To Work That Aren't A Cafe For Small Business Owners

As a business owner, your office can be anywhere. We LOVE a cafe, but sometimes we need something less busy or a new scenery. So, here are five more "out of the box" spots worth trying.
1. The library. Quiet, free, and reliable wifi. Great for deep focus work like invoicing or planning. We want to keep libraries alive so we highly suggest checking your local ones out!
2. A fast casual spot like Qdoba. Fast service, plenty of seating, typically wifi and outlets, and nobody rushes you out after one meal. Pro tip: sign up for the rewards programs and enjoy refills.
3. Fast food like Taco Bell. Cheap, open early, late-night hours, and often empty in the mid-morning hours.
4. A quiet luxury bar. Slow afternoons mean seating and space to think. Order a coffee or a drink and settle in.
5. A small restaurant during off hours. Many are empty between lunch and dinner. Owners often welcome a laptop and a paying customer.
Pro tip: If you have pool space where you can safely use your computer. We highly suggest that as the ultimate end-of-summer option.
Third spaces are hard to come by, especially affordable ones.
