Today’s world is ever changing and forever competitive. Your company can either progressive with the times or fall behind. Continuous improvement is necessary and that’s where brand elevation comes in. This will keep your business fresh and at the top of customers minds.
1. Create an Experience
We all know the main goal for many businesses is to gain customers. A great way to do that is by creating an unforgettable consistent experience. Why do you think Apple is so successful? Yes, their products are consistent but so is their customer experience. They have perfected it by studying every interaction - from the in-store experience to their online website. You know what you’re getting - and it’s the same thing everytime. To duplicate this experience you need to view your company through the customer’s lens. What would the first interaction with your customer look like? Once you determine what that looks like you will start to build a community that will not only mention your brand but also advocate.
2. Humanize Your Brand
Humanizing your company will add a level of personalization to the business. This allows customers to connect to something tangible. When this is rolled out correctly it will build a meaningful relationship with your audience. You can do this by using emotions in honest storytelling, being transparent, showing gratitude, showing behind the scenes etc. Another great way to have your customers connect is to highlight your team and their backgrounds. Seeing more faces makes the company seem less robotic and more humanized.
3. Offer Valuable Content
Offering informational content is crucial in the customer journey. Not only does this make you their go-to place to find answers about your industry but keeps them engaged which often has them sticking around for more.
What does valuable content look like? When was the last time you talked to a live person on the phone to learn more about a product or service? In most cases, people prefer to do research at their own leisure. This is a great opportunity to ensure your potential customer can learn everything they need to know by your content. Create content that answers their questions. From the most basic questions they could have to the most complicated. Your goal when creating valuable content is to address their pain points and keep them educated on the industry and what’s going on. If you’re a social media strategist, post about when and how algorithms change for certain platforms etc. Valuable content also starts conversations so make it engaging and a safe space to have an open conversation.
Offering valuable and informative content will make you stand out from the competition.
Brand elevation is a never ending process so stay consistent and on top of it!
