The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Social Media Contractor to join our team on a 6-month contract. You’ll work directly with our Creative Director to help bring brand stories to life across social platforms. No engagement (commenting or DMs) required. Must be based in Philadelphia or Baltimore but comfortable with travel to both cities + surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Support social media content creation and scheduling (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest)

• Follow brand guidelines and strategy provided by the Creative Director

• Repurpose existing content into new formats (reels, graphics, captions)

• Organize and upload content into scheduling tools

• Comfortable with working on photoshoots and with clients 

• Track content needs and coordinate with the team for assets

• Attend weekly check-in meetings

 

Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends

• Experience using Canva or similar design tools

• Ability to follow directions, stay organized, and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills

• Bonus if you have basic video editing or copywriting experience

• This role is primarily Philadelphia, PA based for onboarding/training/projects and requires light travel.

• The ability to travel to Baltimore, MD, 1-3 times a year is required.

Compensation & Growth

• $18/hour

• 10 hours/week to start

• 6-month contract with opportunity for extended work

• Potential for increased hours, raises, and commission
