If you’ve ever been to one of our summer Mango Mixers, we know you’ll agree that we kinda know how to throw a party, baby. After a few years of successful summer events that keep growing each year, we figured we owed it to our mango-citas to spill some of our Summer Event secrets.
Don’t Stop Yapping
If you think you’ve covered all your bases when it comes to sharing about your event, think again and cover them 10 more times. You’ll want to make sure that you’re sharing multiple times on every communication channel you have. This includes: socials, email, website, blogs, direct mail, and public forums like groups and boards. With social media, especially, it’s important to remember that the algorithm is not showing every piece of content to every single follower when you post. In order to get the word out, you’ll have to feel like you’re really oversharing, and even then, there’s a very low chance that you’re actually sharing too much. When you’re throwing an event you’re proud of, you’ve gotta share like you want the whole world to know!
Involve Your Community
Let your neighbors and colleagues know what you’re doing and find ways to involve them. Whether you use their venue, purchase party supplies through them, or invite them to be a featured sponsor, involving your community fosters future collaborations and increases the chances that they’ll help spread the word too!
Give People a Cause to Rally Around
Every year, we pick one or two organizations to donate the proceeds from our events to. Most recently, we were able to donate over $1k to Women's Way Philadelphia and the ACLU from our Mango Mixer events in Baltimore and Philadelphia. These timely donations came at a time where people are coming together to fight for human rights and women's rights, and people certainly stepped up for the cause. Find an organization that reflects your values, and your community will rise to the occasion.
Lean into a Theme
Everyone loves a well-done theme. Picking a theme and sticking to it creates easily recognizable imagery that creates lasting impressions and adds to the excitement of the experience you’ve created. Being Mango Marketing Co., ours is kind of a no-brainer, but we also mix in seasonal elements that coordinate with whatever time of year we’re in or the topic of our event.
We hope these are helpful for vendor events, events you’re throwing, and any other time your business needs to bring the party!

Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-orexplore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.
There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space, you…
Detailed and practical, this guide explains concrete rebar in a way that feels approachable without oversimplifying. The step by step clarity is especially useful for readers new to the subject. I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality.
