How to Prep for Your Website Maintenance Call (Wix Edition)

You’ve got a brand new website! Now it’s time to learn how to use it! Before your maintenance call with us (Mango Marketing Co.,) here’s a quick checklist to help you prep so we can make the most of our time together.

1. Log in to your Wix account

Make sure you can access your Wix dashboard before our call. Double-check that you’re using the correct login email. It should be the one connected to your site. If you can’t log in, reset your password ahead of time.

2. Gather your content + updates

Think about what you’d like to edit or add:

  • New photos or gallery updates

  • Text changes (bios, pricing, hours, etc.)

  • Blog post ideas

  • Any new services or announcements

Having this ready helps us walk you through real-time examples during the call.

3. Test your website links + forms

Take a few minutes to click around your live site. Make note of anything that doesn’t look right (broken links, outdated info) or questions you have about certain sections.

4. Make a list of your top questions

Write down what you want to learn or feel more confident about, like:

  • Editing text and photos

  • Managing blog posts

  • Updating SEO basics

We’ll tailor your call to what matters most to you.

5. Be on a computer, not your phone

For the best experience, join your phone. That way, walk you through your dashboard, and show you step-by-step in Wix on your computer.

Bonus Tip:

Keep a notebook (or Google Doc) handy during the call. You’ll want to jot down a few key notes for later!

PS Somethings we can't help with. But you know who can? Wix's 24/7 Support Chat. Don't be afraid to utilize them for non-design needs.
