When considering the next billboard campaign with Clear Channel Outdoor, there are several key things that we would focus on changing to enhance its effectiveness and overall impact. Here are the seven critical elements we would modify:

1. Location

The selection of the billboard's location is EVERYTHING. Our South Philly Billboard was in a great location but the positioning of it made us realize it was not as ideal as expected. Next time we would look into analyzing commuter patterns, foot traffic, and demographic data to ensure that the billboard is positioned where it will reach the most relevant viewers.

2. Design

The design of the billboard is another crucial component that warrants attention. We listened to the 7 letters or less however it was hard to tell what our business really could do for you in a few seconds. It was very clean and clear...but maybe too clean. Next time we would add a bit more personality.

3. Add Specific Link

In our next billboard, we would incorporate a specific link that directs viewers to a dedicated landing page tailored for the campaign. This link would not only provide more information about our products or services but also let us know they came from the billboard.


Next time we would make the link something even simpler than our normal website for people to remember quickly.


4. Niche Down Hard

Another significant change would be to niche down hard with our messaging. Instead of adopting a broad approach, "Stop traffic with your business", we would focus on a specific side of our business.


Next time we will focus on one of our core services like website design or branding.


We are so happy we learned so many great things about our billboard. We can't wait to keep incorporating Out of Home Marketing with Digital Marketing.
